The Cannes Film Festival is followed religiously by fashionistas to spot new trends and to check out what their favourite celebrities decided to wear at this ‘Fashion Festival’. If we look at this year, a huge hype surrounded Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s presence there!! Critics were already commenting on why she shouldn’t be a part of Cannes 2012. However, amidst all that din about her baby fat, Aishwarya Rai made a ravishing appearance. Now, I must add here that I have personally liked Ash’s previous ensembles as compared to the ethnic ensemble designed by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. But, in no way did the diva appear uncomfortable on the red carpet while facing shutterbugs. The trends this summer have been the most sought after topic among fashionistas. The colours marking the season so far are said to be bright yellow, hot neon and fiery tangerine. The brands also have some excellent options in these electric colours. But I would still say that pairing black and white is a very well put together look. Its your safest best to look classy and chic! I think combining a black and white look with accessories in yellow and neon will make it just perfect for summer!! The IPL this year has turned out to be a dud! I guess we have had a lot of cricket, and now even the T-20 has failed to arouse interest. Well, let's not discuss cricket here, I just happened to notice that the IPL has given India their very own WAGs…so move over EPL and lets focus here. Sakshi Dhoni is definitely enjoying being captured by shutterbugs. Known for her casual dressing sense, she has been spotted donning tees with fitted jeans. Outside the stadium, she has been seen looking glamorous with shrugs and stoles. I LIKE her sense of style…it oozes confidence!
